Halloween Parade
Toms River Halloween Parade

Started in 1937 as a small municipal celebration of Halloween, The Toms River Halloween Parade is now acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records as the second largest in the world.

This fabulous Halloween Spooktacular finds more than 100,000 spectators lining the parade route to watch the floats, marching bands, organizations, families and kids dressed up in their costumes.

For many years, the Rotary of Toms River used to bring our “portable chuck wagon” and club members, along with family members, cooked and served hot dogs, “Philly Style” pretzels, popcorn, cotton candy; and most welcome on a cold night – hot coffee and hot chocolate. The proceeds from the sale of the food was earmarked for our charitable giving.

Beginning n 2018 we have provided the volunteer help for the FREE food giveaway at Anderson and Campbell on Main Street. We cooked and wrapped hot dogs, served a variety of donuts, distributed candy, and overall had a great time.

We put out a large donation jug and the generosity of the public was outstanding. All of the funds collected went to our Feed the Hungry Program.
